The online application takes approximately 40 minutes to complete. You should save your progress regularly so that you can revisit it any time before submitting the form.

Please note that only our full-time degree programs provide a student visa for Germany. For our part-time degree programs, you will need to commute to the lecture weeks from your residing country with a tourist visa or look for a job and work visa in Germany. 

We require a permanent email address to ensure that every applicant can be uniquely identified in our system.




What do I need to prepare for the Mannheim Master in Management Analytics & AI (Part-Time) application?

Before applying, please note the following important information:

 

Part-Time Program: This Master’s Program is designed for working professionals who want to do their Master’s Degree without interrupting their career. It is an opportunity to learn all about Analytics & AI, while advancing your professional career. You must be in employment throughout the program, regardless of the field or industry in which you work. This helps us ensure that you are in a position to apply your newly acquired expertise and innovative methods directly.

 

On-campus attendance: The program requires approximately 10 weeks of in-person lectures in Mannheim, Germany spread over the 24-month program duration. Since we are offering a Part-Time Program with limited exposure on campus, this program does not qualify for a study visa. Participants who live outside of Germany can commute to our lecture weeks as a tourist or look for a job and work visa in Germany.

What do I need to prepare for the Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation (Part-Time) application?
This program does NOT require application fee.

  7. A certificate of exmatriculation (Exmatrikulationsbescheinigung) AND certificate of study progress (Studienverlaufsbescheinigungen) that clearly states your total semester numbers, semesters on leave, date of immatriculation and date of exmatriculation.

If you are not from the Big Four companies, you will need:

What do I need to prepare for the Mannheim Master in Sustainable Business & Technology (Part-Time) application?
Before applying, please note the following important information:

  • Inform your referees
    We need two referees for your application. 
    Once you submit the application, you will receive a confirmation email with application fee payment instruction. Please proceed the payment accordingly and upload the receipt on the personalized form. When the application fee payment is verified, an automatic email will be sent to your referee(s) using the email address(es) you supply. We suggest that you contact your referees beforehand.
Please prepare the supporting documents in PDF format and upload them to the form:
  1. Your CV
  2. A profile photo / portrait photo (in JPG format)
  3. Proof of English proficiency / English language certificate (please check our website for the required score for your program)
  4. Certified graduation certificates in English or German

  6. GMAT (exam date & appointment ID) / GRE score report 
  7. Letter of Motivation (1 page PDF, please answer the questions: 1. Why did you choose Mannheim Business School and this program? 2. What are your career goals and what do you think this program will help you achieve?)

German Language Proficiency Statement (1 page PDF, In consideration of your career goals post-MBA and your aspirations to enter the German job market, please describe: 1.your current level of German language proficiency, 2. your goal for reaching a specific proficiency level by the time the program begins, 3. further details on how you plan to achieve this goal. For example, you may mention any professional courses or institutes you plan to attend, self-study strategies, and the estimated time investment per week. This information will help us better understand your commitment to preparing for the program and allow us to support you in reaching your language goals.) If you have obtained a CEFR German language certificate from Goethe Institute or similar, please upload it as a combined PDF.

  • Inform your referees
    We need one referee for your application. 
    Once you submit the application, you will receive a confirmation email with application fee payment instruction. Please proceed the payment accordingly and upload the receipt on the personalized form. When the application fee payment is verified, an automatic email will be sent to your referee using the email address(es) you supply. We suggest that you contact your referee beforehand.

What do I need to prepare for the ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA (Part-Time) application?
  • Inform your referees
    We need two referees for your application. 
    Once you submit the application, you will receive a confirmation email with application fee payment instruction. Please proceed the payment accordingly and upload the receipt on the personalized form. When the application fee payment is verified, an automatic email will be sent to your referee using the email address(es) you supply. We suggest that you contact your referee beforehand.

What is the next step after submitting the application?

Data Protection and Privacy Policy for the MBS online application process

When you apply for an MBS degree program, we record the personal data you provided in your cover letter, résumé, references, application form, interviews, etc. in our applicant tracking system for the duration of the application process.


MBS collects, processes, stores and uses this data to contact you in the event of acceptance or, in the event of an initial rejection, to inform you that a place has become available or to seamlessly proceed with the application process should another degree program at MBS be applicable. If you are accepted for an MBS degree program, this data shall be retained for the duration of the program. In addition, MBS shares your data with the University of Mannheim for the purpose of academic supervision of MBS degree programs.


Provided that there are no legal retention or storage obligations, personal data that is no longer required for these purposes is deleted or made unavailable to users. In the event that you terminate the application process prematurely or are not accepted for the MBS degree program, all personal data, with the exception of information on your acceptance, rejection or withdrawal of the application, shall be deleted.


Applicant data is stored on our file server, located on MBS and university premises. Application documents are also stored in our CRM system “Salesforce”, in a data center located in Germany. FormAssembly, which is used for the online application process, also uses data centers in the EU, as do the products of the Microsoft 365 Suite, which are used for various purposes during the admissions process. It cannot be completely excluded that such personal data is also stored on servers located outside of the EU.


Personal data may only be processed and used where permitted by law or subject to the consent of the person concerned. With regard to the procedures described above, it is permitted to collect, store, transmit and use your personal data to the extent described in Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
